About Mayfair Studio

Mayfair Studio began as a small decorating practice working on London flats and period houses. Most of our clients arrived with the same question: not "what should I buy?", but "why does this room feel wrong?".

Our answer is nearly always the same — light, proportion and texture, in that order. Those principles are what we teach on this site, free of charge, because they cost nothing to apply.

Why the membership exists

Sourcing is the slow part of our work. We keep a running record of the makers and retailers whose pieces hold up: British potteries, small weavers, lighting workshops, restorers. For £25 you get that record and the group where we share it, permanently.
